Received five-star, excellent and timely medical care. But the billing situation was a one-star experience. I paid the amounts billed to me soon after service. Then, almost a year later, I received unexpected and significant additional bills because of an after-discovered contract issue between VCU Health and my insurance company. Of course, VCU Health and the insurance company gave me the run-around. But if you're the one sending me the bill (looking at you, VCU Health), it seems like you ought to be the one to take responsibility for billing me the correct amount, especially when the medical pricing system is a huge black box for the patient/consumer.

Waste of my valuable time! I specifically told the rep who scheduled my appointment what I needed to see a physician for and how it would be paid. The physician, Isaac, completely ignored all of my complaints and refused to even acknowlegde my case. What is even worse is that physician was teaching another physician how to disregard a patient. 😒 Today, I discovered, after a couple of weeks, that my personal insurance was charged! Now I have to waste more of my valuable time resolving the staff's incompetence. Apparantly, not listening is common. 😑🤨😒 I was absolutely unimpressed and would never recommend this place to anyone, specifically not that physician, Isaac...unless you are not of color, then this physician may actually listen to you.
