I haven’t been to the library in person for a while and wanted to start utilizing my local libraries. I was welcomed with such a warm and great person in the front desk she made me feel so welcomed despite all the questions I was asking about where things were lol. Think this library will be my regular one and I never realized how much services libraries provided all for free. I love this location and how beautiful it is and can’t wait to go here again!

This is a great library! A beautiful building and yhe checkout and reservation system is easy to use. They even have the off hour lockers if you need to pick items up outside of their open hours.

Questions & Answers

Hello, Is there any help/ class provided to ukranians wanting to lean English? How do we get new membership for a ukranian family who lives here & trying to get established & stay here? Also, can we come in to explore and spend time there? Thx

There are English Conversation Classes that happen monthly at the Worthington Park Library location. Applications for library cards are at worthingtonlibraries.org or can be done in person. An ID or utility bill with address will be needed. Current business hours are 9am-8pm Mon-Thurs, 9am-6pm Fri-Sat, and 1-5 on Sundays, and anyone is welcome to spend time in the library! Best of luck!

Do you accept Vhs movies? I have quite a collection and would rather donate than have them go into a landfill. Or if you know where I can donate?

Micca Jewell | Sep 27, 2019
Old Worthington Library | Sep 27, 2019

Thank you very much for your interest in donating materials to the Friends Foundation book sale. Unfortunately the Friends are not in need of VHS tapes at this time. They have said that VHS tapes are not selling well and that most people are interested in DVDs. Below are some organizations that may accept your VHS donations. National Kidney Foundation Services http://www.nkfpickup.org/acceptable-donations.php Goodwill http://www.goodwill.org/donate-and-shop/donate-stuff/ *It is rumored that goodwill will not accept VHS donations, but it does not say that on the website so it might be up to the individual store. You might want to call your local goodwill before attempting to donate. Volunteers of America http://www.voago.org/donate The Salvation Army http://columbus.satruck.org/columbusarc/donate#
