Excellent tour and guide. We had the place to ourselves.

Thank you Ethan for all the information you shared with us! We are so glad we have done this tour! If you are in area this gem is a must to see. What a trip to the past! My 8 and 9 year old didn’t breathe the whole 45 minutes. Cant wait to be back in the spring.

This unpretentious looking house serves up a fabulous tour. The tour guides know an incredible about about John Marshall and his time here from the 1780's until his death. At least half of the objects in the home are original to the family …
Humdrum
Very nice historical home right in the heart of downtown Richmond. The house contains many detailed and informative pieces about John Marshall, his life and career, as well information about the periods in which he lived and was chief justice of the Supreme Court. There is a nice garden in the rear to sit and enjoy the grounds. It's directly across the street from city hall.
