I recommend this Agency for anyone who are educating children I have been registered with them for many years as an educator and this agency helps you keep up with your certification as a teacher and it also has classes that you can take to batter your profession and to better the lives of children you are in care of

OCCRRA provides training and support for Early Childcare providers. Presentations are quite professional. Pack a lunch and snacks for these trainings though as there are few opportunities for dining in the area that can be accomplished in the time available. This is a truly 'no nonsense' facility.

Chris, You are correct, only Ohio Approved training counts for the PD Certificate. Health and safety courses - specifically Child Abuse, First Aid, Communicable Disease and CPR do not count towards PD hours. You can find that information in the child care licensing rules. Please contact your child care licensing specialist if you have other questions regarding the rule requirements for licensing training.

After you have had your fingerprints completed at a Web Check agency, you will then submit the request from your Registry Profile.
