Today marked my first gallon of blood donated! This was my first time donating at this location and I had a great experience. I don’t remember the lady’s name that took my blood but she was awesome, usually the needle hurts me more than it did today. I told her I usually get dizzy and everyone took care of me and she gave me tips on what to eat beforehand the next time I donate.

It’s always a treat to stop and get information find out what’s going on in the community and more importantly sign up for a CPR class. Looking forward to getting the information on how to become a provider. Plus the security officers on duty at the end of the day were fantastic and very helpful

At the time of donation? No however you can call the number on your after care instructions a few days after donating and they will tell you.

The Red Cross can only accept volunteer blood donations, they do not pay. For paid donations, you'll need to go to a plasma center.
