How long does it take to receive registration material and new license plates for a vehicle once you have mailed in the paperwork

I don't recall how long but there is a grace period if you don't get there by 3/23. Keep in mind you will be driving with an expired license and it can cause trouble when getting ID'd.

I think with proper ID pretty quickly. Bring your SSI card and other forms of ID Passport, and you should be good.

Agree with Keith L. When I had this done the folks "transferred" all the stickers. Albeit not same as the original sticker application. It all worked.

Search on 'appointment' on the Monroe County DMV webpage, and you have the list of registration related, along with your options. For example mail, online, appointment, walkin. Appointment could be scheduled online.

You can register your vehicle way before it's due either at dmv or online but if you go go early before 10am

When I last had an eye exam, they asked for my license ID. They sent it electronically. Unfortunately, dmv is too dumb to have that integrated and they didn't even know it was submitted.

I think the Greece DMV location is the one doing permit testing. You may be able to take the text at your school. Then get you picture taken at certain locations allotted by DMV.,

My guess is the tag is for you and to use in different cars if necessary. But I would call the town or city you received it from. ( I do not think they would issue a second tag)

You will need to schedule an online appointment or they will turn you away. If all you need is a basic licence renewal, it will be about a 2 hour wait. They will take your picture and collect fee. New license will be mailed to you but they do give you a temporary printout for the mean time wait. For enhanced license, be sure to bring your birth certificate and SS card. Good luck.

Turn your plates into the DMV office to take it off the today and cancel the insurance or If using a new become to you then you can transfer the plates and registration as well as the insurance to the car you will be driving, by going the DMV office. Other than that just sell it. That's all I know I hope that helps.

The DMV does not have a public number, the Albany call center does. They will not give out personal information over the phone because there is no way to verify who you are. If you go in to the DMV there is a possibility they can look you up.

You can get a duplicate at any time during office hours for less than $20, you can change your picture, address, and name (with proper documentation). You can renew your state driver's license up to a year in advance.

Be sure to bring the original or photocopy of the document from surrogate court stating you are executor or administrator of your parent's estate. This shows you have the right to sell your parent's property. I brought all sorts of paperwork when buying a car from the son of my neighbor who passed away, and they would not accept anything but the original or photocopy of that document. It took me 3 trips before it was made clear what document they needed.

94.50 for an enhanced, you can downgrade to RealID for the same price as a standard (64.50). You will need at least a RealID as of 10/1/2020.

Look up for registration replacement online and you could order one for an additional $3. As you complete this process you can also print a temporary registration that is good for 10 days, adequate time to have your sticker mailed. If it's urgent and you can brave your way through the queue you can get your replacement sticker for $3 at the DMV office, avoiding any wait time.
