VA Harbor Health Center is a very much needed facility for Veterans and families. The staff is very helpful and the medical capabilities of this facility is top notch.

Yes, sir. They have personnel on the first floor when you walk in, who will answer questions. Just head to the help desk, and they will send you to the correct person. Semper Fidelis.
Leave it with the staff at the Club Houses sponsored by the mental health department....I am unsure of which floor the Club Houses are located. Thank you for your donation😌
Yes
I was told by my pcp (Manhattan VA) that we'll be contacted when our turn comes up
You can not park in the circlce. That is for drop off and for VA officals only
Check google. Yes.
If they were in the service or are a family member.
Yes, you can. Know that everyone must pass through security/ metal detectors as they ask for ID. Tell the why you are there, you will sign the book on the right and go about your business...Enjoy
No. They don't.
Paid parking only there a couple parking garages if lucky might get spot few blocks away
if your maiden name is on your birth certificate you're better off calling 311 for help with getting a birth certificate copy. I don't think the VA hospital is going to have that kind of documentation.
No Monday-Friday
They'll notify you when your comes up
What exactly are you trying to do
Yes just tell the police on the 1st floor that the vet will need an escort to his primary care appointment on the 9th floor

First let me say I've been in your position I sympathize with your needs you have many options have you first or are you a veteran if so I recommend going to the 15th floor of va New York Harbor they have a homeless prevention center there also utilize the city of New York's 311 service if you are in a place they can prevent or slow down the process to give you enough time to get a place if you are homeless at the time of this response I recommend going to Borden veterans homeless services still have a cot for you but you have to get out on the road every day and look for something I've been there they can help you get the things that you desire
If you're a veteran entitled to healthcare you can apply for it at any VA or online
There is one in the VA in the Bronx as well
That question can be somewhat suspicious. When you get there, ask for directions.
No parking other metered on street free parking for disabled vet with tag in front of the building when available.
No they don't however you could donate these items to a veterans homeless shelter.
Money thru Friday 9 am to 3 pm
Yes
Ask someone in elegibity. Legal advice takes place on specific days and hours.
If they have an available opening, you maybe able to apply. Its a federal facility so you must be a US citizen to apply. Go to USAJOBS.gov to sesrch for jobs and apply
Yes it will
Try Metro-North to Grand Central and then the MTA to 23rd St, however, the Bronx VA is closer.
Hi, I work there as an administrative officer. Yes, you can. Any VA in the nation has access to your records. Even the VA hospital in Manila, Philippines. 👍🏽
Yes! However, you should go to the VA in Virginia.
Appromimatel 8am to 5pm
As of my experiences with the V.A. appts are timely. Personally I use the Bronx V.A. and they are usually within the minutes.
Free if service connected otherwise depends on your income.
No parking area in Manhattan for the VA.
Hello! You must call the individual clinic and check their availability. By calling the main number and asking for the operation to connect you, this is possible. Good luck.
Mr. Ortiz, if you are implying to go to the VA in the place you're visiting, then certain clinics accept walk-in's, others do not. Please call (Google hangouts-free call). As Ms. Vanessa suggested, theres always the emergency room.
Time is of the essence with regard to transportation to and from the VA.
Parking is hard to find and private parking lots in the city are very expensive. The VA can provide transportation if need it and if client is qualified. Call for info.
Call the general number and tell them you want to make an appointment and the will connect you to the right people. If it's your first time you might be better off because there is a registration process.
Yes, ask the Help Desk personnel, or the security staff where the Emergency department is. The location is a a bit tricky, yet once there, you will not be as lost.
The answer has to do whether the member is an in or outpatient.
What specific clinic are you looking for
Yes and as many services and doctors as in any other major medical facilities...as a matter of fact, a lot of med students from NYU do begin their internships and residencies at the VA, not to mention their dental students as well. Medically speaking you are in great hands at the Manhattan VA.
You mean "To" another state?
If you have VA disability full coverage insurance then sometimes yes. However if you partial coverage then you may have a copay for visits and meds. e pa
I wish we did. But behind the VA in Queens there is an indoor pool, the cost for veterans is discounted. It's only forty dollars a year and the privileges is for all the pools in the city. Workout room, gym etc.
There is limited public parking nearby so if you drive, it could take you a while to find a space so leave early. Be prepared to pay at a local garage
Children are allowed in, this is acceptable, but as far as riding the shuttle, they are allowed after the age of thirteen y/o.
Yes, they have urologist. My husband love the VA Hospital
