I am filing a complaint against the Hampton Virginia Branch cookout. I received poor treatment while trying to order my food in the drive thru. It was very few customers and while ordering for myself my wife and my two children after leaving the pool with my family. While ordering the lady was extremely impatient with taking my order. I was patient with her as it was apparent she was young and unprofessional. Once she repeated the order she proceeds to tell me I needed to wait before I pulled up. After waiting for a few minutes for no apparent reason as there was no one in front of me I pulled to the window with the intension of speaking with the manger due to the mistreatment the cashier stated “you need to back up I told you to wait”. To which I responded who do you think your talking too at which time she slammed the window. I then knocked on the window at which tint the manger opens the window and asked why am I banging on the window I then asked for her name and she refused at which time she proceeded to call the police and report my information at which time I also called the police. I will never come back to this location and plan to post this on your reviews thanks

i drive the extra few miles to go to this cookout! i really hate the newport news location despite it being closer. the staff is super sweet and rarely messes our orders up :) my favorite burgers in the world of fast food!

Food was good, and we hot it in a timely matter. However, I had ordered a dinner and it came with nothing to eat it with or napkins! Where it's located is hard to get back to once you go forward out onto Mercury Blvd. To turn around and go all the way back and wait in those lines again would have been way to much trouble. So I bent a straw up and used it to scoop my BBQ and coleslaw up to eat it. Let this be a lesson to NEVER leave until everything is accounted for in the bag. I usually always ok and of course the one time I didn't it wasn't in there. Just always presume people in these fast food restaurants are incompetent.

Customer service was good. Like the walk up window instead of drive through. Love the milkshake and hushpuppies. Milkshakes were nice and thick.. delish! Burgers were good. Next time will have to try the chicken. Cajun fries were very good.
