Horrible to say the least my son was approved for SSI 6 months ago after submitting all medical records and applying on 4/19/21. NO ONE notified us, NO LETTE, NO CALL, NOTHING. I called DDS since obviously after a year waiting someone is obviously not working, that's when they told me this had been approved months ago. Called SSA office they pretend they did not drop the ball and nothing happened. Here I am 7 months after approved leaving messages to case worker and office supervisor and my disabled son has not received his first payment yet. GOT TO LOVE GOVERMENT EMPLOYEES GETTING PAID BY US AND NOT DOING THE BARE MINIMUM INNEPTITUDE AT ITS BEST.

Ive been attempting to call and get a hold of someone at this office for two weeks now and no answer. I call every singe day at different times and it keeps ringing until it automatically hangs up. It is bad enough they are not open but at least pick up the phones. Super irresponsible!

Please get your information lined up between the phone line operators and the offices. You are costing people a lot of money they shouldn't have to spend during very hard times

What is it
I always go in person and always early because by 7:30 your will see people waiting
There's a parking lot right in front of the office if that's full then you can park on the side of the road just has to be a little farther down than where the building is..
Yes. Ssa.gov under disability
I suggest you go in early and get on line and make an appointment because it gets mobbed with people
Depends on the laeyer you get
Couldn't hurt to have an appt but, they do take walk ins I believe!
I think 20 hours.
Took me over 2 hours to be treated like dirt in the process. Terrible service at 51 myrtle street in Worcester
Free
You can walk in take a number and wait to be called
Excelent service
You can call I walked in and was pleased with service new remodeled lobby less chairs less people in and out
There phone lines are so messed up they hang up on you and don't call you back. It's very hard to make an appointment. They don't give correct information on the phone if you do get through. With gas the way it is they will give you a ton of wrong information and have you running all around town to get stuff situated. How you tell people to mail copies but then send it back and say we don't accept copies 4 times in 6 months?
Not sure jus be glad
Only for appointments and emergencies.
Only by appointment just went the other day
You have to call the office number and speak with an agent who will schedule for the earliest available time.
I think it's by appointment.
Not for the Springfield location it is currently closed due to construction. There is a security guard there that can help with any questions
The drop box is inside the office. I think the police officer from the office can help you.
With your ID in hand, call Social Security Administration. My experience with them is always good, they're very helpful and if they can't help you they'll point you to the person or organization which can. Since your representative is not sharing with you, it would be a good idea to call when that Person is not around. Good luck.
Go straight to the source Bond St. Or wherever is close to you and state your case and then report it to one of their so called advocates and that will at least confirm your complaint.
Call the social security office
you have to go to be a report in the police, then you go to go with the report, and then you go to the social security with the information so that they investigate.
The one thing I would do it call SSA and talk to them
Not that you have lived, but if you have worked for more than 40 years, you are sure you have the right to social security. But only if I work for that time now if you have mental health conditions, depression or anxiety or any illness that they consider serious, you are also entitled to social security.
What happened
Are you receiving disability or retirement benefits? Disability benefits, depending on whether it's SSI or SSDI are paid either on the 1st or 3rd unless those days are a holiday or fall on a weekend. If it's retirement it's dependant on your date of birth i believe. A little more info is needed for your issue.
You need your ID birth certificate and know your ssn you can do it online at ss.gov
