A gorgeous architecture wonder in New York City. Wonderful places to shop, eat. If looking for a quick bite, or dine at a fantastic sit down restaurant, you will find it here. A must visit when in this fabulous city.

I will defend the statement that public transportation in the United States pales in comparison to its fellow developed nations, but Grand Central Terminal is one of those places that makes me happy to use NY public transportation.
It's an architectural marvel less iconic than the Empire State Building, but so much more aesthetic. The food options within and nearby are tempting. The staff are approachable & know their stuff.

JP Nguyen | Sep 27, 2019
It’s outside of the Grand Central Oyster Bar & xRestaurant. The 4 corners can be used to whisper back and forth. Walk down to lower concourse level towards the food court.
The ceiling is painted backwards.
The painting of the constellations is not what you see looking up; it's what you would see if you were looking towards the Earth from space.
Many say it's, "God's perspective."

Until June 26 it is considered, but every week they update, it is in this station and the one in Penn ... if they give the 7-day metro card or another that includes a ferry but the vdd the metro is the one that is worth it
Just how many decibels coming out of NYC at any given moment?
Jenny Keng | Sep 26, 2021
jorge luis hernandez lizardo | Sep 26, 2021
Hello Jenny, I don't know how many decibels, but right now the city is quiet, no matter where you go it's almost no traffic, but it's nice to walk around and know places.
Yes...MTA operates a vehicle from Grand Central Terminal to Imperial Theatre every 5 minutes. Tickets cost $3 and the journey takes 3 min. Alternatively, Suburban Transit operates a bus from Grand Central Terminal to Imperial Theatre every 4 hours. Tickets cost $1 - $20 and the journey takes 5 min.

Unfortunately there isn't a specific train that can get you close to there from here. Id probably sat taking the 6 down to 33rd Street and then walking over to the 33rd PATH station and going from there is the best train route to get you to Hoboken.
I do not recall seeing a U.S.P.O. in Grand Central Terminal itself.
However, there is a Post Office on 45th Street and Lexington Avenue. It is right outside Grand Central Terminal
Yes Brewster is one of the stations in the Metro North railroad, actually the Harlem line
It's about 20 stations north of Grand Central the trip takes around 1:35
Take in mind that depending on schedule some trains are express and don't stop in all the stations
You can download the App Mymta
The American Museum of Natural History is located @
Central Park West & 79th St, New York, NY 10024
If you Google Maps it and click on directions you will see the different choices on how to get there from Grand Central Terminal.
I hope this helps.
Depending where in the bronx; your best bet is to consult Google Maps by entering your destination and choosing your travel options...
e.g., destination + from where by walk, car, bus, or train

Go to Grand Central Terminal. It is located where Park Avenue and Vanderbilt Avenue cross 42nd street. Buy your ticket at one of the ticket counters in the main concorse- the upper level. Go to the big clock in the middle - That's the information desk if you need help. The tracks numbered below 100 are on that upper level, right off the main concorse. Go downstairs for tracks numbered 100 and above.

Take the subway (green line) #4 or #5 (Dowtown & Brooklyn) 9 stops to Bowling Green. Exit to street level. Walk in the park to Statue cruise line to Liberty Island.
Note: there is only offical one ferry to Statue of Liberty, but many fake tours that will take you on the harbor but do not go to Liberty Island.

Is there a storage room inside the grand central to leave luggage for a few hours a day?
andres szekely | Sep 27, 2018
Grand Central Terminal | Sep 27, 2018
Hi andres — No, there are no luggage storage services at Grand Central. Please plan ahead if you are arriving with luggage.
what time does the last train to new haven Ct. leave on Friday May 25, 2018
How much is the ticket from new york to New haven?
How long does it usually take?
"In the 1920s, station attendants wore different color hats, depending on their jobs. “Red Caps” helped passengers with their luggage and “Green Caps” helped deliver messages for travelers. The practice doesn’t exist anymore at Grand Central Terminal, although Amtrak still has Red Cap baggage handlers at Penn Station across town."
No, definitely. The only place i can think it is at the bus terminal at 42 st & 8 ave. But for small luggage. Now with the extra security in the city maybe they removed those lockers already.
