Denied entry because of my vehicle. I own a brand new small car and a lettered work van. I cannot and will not put trash bags in the tiny trunk of my car so I used my work van. I was told no industrial waste allowed. I offered to open the doors and show them that its only my household trash. There is no commercial waste in the van. Too bad, so sad. Rules are rules. I pay taxes like everyone else yet am denied a free service that my taxes pay for.

A total first class experience! From the moment my wife and I checked in we were treated with nothing but professionalism and hospitality. We especially enjoyed the hot tub. Oddly enough, it looked like one of those giant rollback dumpsters filled with rainwater but the spa manager assured us that was not the case. The room service was outstanding and always on time. It was a real treat to have the Five Star Chef’s delectable dishes brought to our room. I will say that the food was brought to us in trash bags which had us concerned but after speaking to the front desk, they explained to us that those were warming bags designed to keep the food very warm. Apparently those bags are the “in” thing now in France and we like to keep up with current trends so it was a great fit. The resort grounds were wide open and sprawling however the groundskeeper may want to do bit better keeping the trash picked up. When it was time to check out, we’re visited by the bellhop who had a bright yellow construction worker’s vest on. We thought he may have been from maintenance but since it was close to Halloween, we just figured he was dressed up and in the Halloween spirit so we overlooked that as such. Alas, the dreaded time had come to depart but it wasn’t that bad. The staff made it really easy on us as they simply left the gate open for us to drive out. This was certainly a vacation we will never forget with memories that will last a lifetime. If you’re looking for the perfect place to rest, recharge and reignite some romance with your spouse. Looking no further than Dinwiddie VA Landfill and Resort.
