We checked in then promptly checked out! Filthy rooms! Unmade beds,(bedding and pillows all in a heap in the middle of the bed) big bugs in the sink and the halls wreaked of Marijuana. It was just plain dirty! We were offered a second room after refusing the first one. Both were the same. We drove on to Moline.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable and I slept well. The location is minutes away from most restaurants in town and traffic was at a minimum. The stay was great and I will definitely be returning when in the area again. Top notch.

Just so disappointed. Something sticky and dried on the floor by the toilet, dirty grout, broken A/C , heat plug, slowly draining tub. The water collecting while showing was deep. The kitchen off the breakfast area was dirty, cabinet doors were missing. One could not tell the staff from some guests by their appearance. I stayed at a Quality Inn in Michigan in November which was the opposite of the one in Galesburg. Will never stay at this place again. Even the outside areas were unkept.

While the highly overworked staff was wonderful, the three rooms we had to use in five days all had serious problems ranging from rocking toilets to loose water fixtures, clogged drains, and no heat. We've stayed in this motel many many times the past 20 years, but the new owner is not providing good maintenance repairs, and there is no maintenance person on hand except a couple times a month when he comes from another motel 60 miles away. The staff was up to their eyeballs in alligators over which they had no control and had been given no authority to rectify.
