So much for camping. I arrived Check in and go to the camp site. The site was extremely small and barely enough to fit my camper. The people that were next to me had their dog leash in my spot. I had to ask them to move it and they refused. I went up and talked to the camp host who came down to deal with the situation. The people were rude to him and said that they were in their own spot even though they weren't. He even showed them the map and everything but they still didn't believe it. I back into the spot and start to unhitch. At that point I hear 4 little dogs barking at me. The people did nothing to quiet them. I could hear them muttering under their breath to each other about how rude I was for interfering with their site.... Even though it was my site and I paid for it. I was taking a break in my truck When they decided to pack up in the car and go to the pool. One of the kids flipped me off as they drove by. I decided at that point I was leaving. I went to the office let them know I was leaving. I requested a refundTo which they said they couldn't do. I told him the situation at hand. All he said was I'm sorry. I will never stay at Galesburg campground again. Is sadly this used to be a good campground. I We'll be contacting the City of Galesburg.

Don't go if your unit is over 20'. One area is up a dirt/gravel one-vehicle lane. Pray you don't met anyone coming from the opposite direction. It's tight. Same for getting to the Campground--a one-way winding road on a hillside. Once in, it's ok. Very little cell reception. Nice staff.
Yes
