I recently moved to Streator but they wanted a 250 deposit on top of the room fee because my licence is still for Galesburg and they don't want people who live in town staying there I guess? Ridiculous. and if that's the case they need to have that policy online.

It was a nice experience. The beds are very comfortable and all of the facilities were really clean!

Worst Best Western I have ever stayed at by far. The room was actually very nice, ok breakfast, and decent pool, but this is not a place to stay if you need to sleep. The people who stay here are obnoxious. There was a dog they allowed to bark all night and the TV in the room was blaring all night as well, staff did absolutely nothing about it. Property going to fail my exam I am here for which my work will not pay for if I fail. I don’t expect a best western to be a Hilton, but it shouldn’t be worse than a motel 6. I’m also very glad I removed my value item when I left during the day, my no disturb sign was outside my room but ended back in it and my property was clearly searched through, thankfully nothing was missing but again I took everything with me. Sadly there may not even be better options in Galesburg so just drive to the quad cities or Peoria if you want sleep or to feel safe.

I must say I was so pleasantly surprised. What a gorgeous piece of property. The architecture is gorgeous. The bar where we ate burgers was fabulous. The bar tender, cook, Ms. Danielle(?) was fabulous. I passed on onions because I am allergic to raw onions and mentioned I can only eat fried onions. So what does she do, serves me fried onions which was such a great surprise. There was a group of people in the bar that were so kind and friendly. For breakfast Johnie was fabulous and very personable. When I woke up and found out our shower was broken (which was very unfortunate). I still must say this place is wonderful. I will look for ways to stay here again in my travels. Thank you for a great night that was quiet and had very comfortable beds.
