I don't know if this restaurant recently changed hands. But, for years it was my favorite place to eat on my yearly vacation. Not anymore! We were a table of 9. Almost every order was wrong! The waitress brought the food out, knowing it wasn't as ordered. Then asked if "we were sure we wanted them to re make it." Every single person was disappointed in the taste of their food. My niece ordered a beef taco off the kids menu for $5. And when we got the bill they charged us an extra fee of $2 for the beef!! And absolutely refused to remove it! So be aware the kids taco is apparently empty!! Unless you pay $2 for a meat! (This is not mentioned on the menu!) We told the owner that over this $2 fee he will be losing a large group of people who made his establishment a yearly tradition. And he just walked away!!! This was honestly the worst professional transaction I have ever experienced!

I visited 3 times during my beach week. The building is old and not fancy but ignore that because the food and service are outstanding! A perk is that prices are great so great food, great service and great price! I'll go back every chance I get!

One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Was forced to return my order because the chicken tacos tasted awful. When I called to say the food was not edible, I was hung up on, then after going and getting a refund the owner asked what was wrong with the food, and I(very politely) said the tacos tasted bad. The owner then responds with “taste is subjective”!!! Now upset I said “subjective? I don’t think so S**T tastes like S**T” I then asked him to try one of the(UNOPENED&UNTOUCHED) tacos and he nervously said “I’ll try it later”!😳🤯 I honestly hated that I had to return the food because I was very hungry, then after Being treated awfully decided I’d never eat there again! Which kinda sucks because it’s literally less then one block from me! And the craziest part is that my best friend and his wife had an almost identical situation there! This is the first time I’ve ever left a comment for a restaurant, but the food and service were so awful I had to give people a heads up!

Postings of 6 ft social distancing, mask wearing before seating and thorough cleaning are protocols that were witnessed on our visit.
Eric, presently we are in process with formalizing our policy regarding pets on the premises. We do allow pets on the patio on the outside tables and stone table area, must be on leash, seated on floor or ground and nonintrusive to other guests. We hope to have formal policy soon. It's south of the Pineda Causeway about 3 miles on the right. Parking is limited and a challenge.
