I hate to only leave three stars on a local place. However, the service was pretty slow not sure what might have been going on. Waited about an hour for breakfast food. The food was mediocre when it did come out. My wife was disappointed that it’s not “on the beach”

This restaurant and our experience at it was TERRIBLE!! They brought my husband a grouper Benedict and the fish had gone bad. This was after they didn't have the pork for the Munich Benedict that he originally had ordered. We all got our food and then they told him this. So, we had to wait for his bad fish benedict to arrive and our food sat and got cold. Then,since we had to wait, I asked for a cup of coffee, while I waited for the 3rd attempt to get my husband something to eat (this time he just ordered a regular eggs Benedict), and the coffee tasted like it was burned. I asked them to take it off of my bill because I couldn't drink it and they told me that it was freshly made and ground but very strong and wasn't burned. This wasn't true either because I actually am Italian and enjoy espresso and strong coffee. I know what a good cup of coffee tastes like. This was burned!! Don't waste your money trying to eat here because it is not worth it! The elder server recommended the grouper Benedict and said that it was very good. Then when we told her that they had made it with fish that had gone bad, we asked her to smell it (because it was very obvious it was gross), she told us that she doesn't eat fish and doesn't like the way it smells!! They had 2 servers working that morning. The young server was new and nice. The older one was the one that recommended food that she doesn't eat and was defending all the bad stuff that we explained to her was awful by denying that it was bad with a ton of stupid excuses. Do not waste your money or time going to eat here!! Now we know why this place is called Sun On The Beach...I'd rather look up at the sun and burn my retinas out than to eat here ever again!! We will not be back.

Sad to see this place go out of busyness and our experience was really bad because of it. Used to love this place
