Had the best time! The staff had amazing energy and were incredibly welcoming! A very easy process from start to finish--to book our slot online, the shuttle to the river, getting our kayaks, etc...a great experience. & an absolutely beautiful river to float! Very few areas that would be concerning for an older child to kayak alone so we will be taking our 12 & 13 year old with us when we go back!

Overall, it was a great day, and I don't have any complaints that would prevent me from coming back again, but there are some things that could have improved it. As it was my first time on this river, I asked the folks who carried me to the water about any landmarks, etc., that would help me gauge my time along the way. They weren't able to provide very much information, and I cut some stops short to make sure I got back by the afternoon deadline. Now I have a better understanding of the route, but as a first-timer, operator familiarity can really take some of the uncertainty out of the trip. Also, there weren't any instructions given as to what to do at the pull-out location. No one was there, and no one was at the office at that time, so I just assumed that dragging the kayak over to the empty trailer and dumping the gear there was the thing to do. Hopefully, they got their stuff back. Another thing to be aware of is the absence of bath/shower/changing shacks at the pull-out site. Not that anyone is planning on going straight from the river to the Ritz-Carlton, but being able to put on some dry clothes before driving back home without streaking for the neighbors is a nice option. That said, none of those things will keep me from coming back. The online booking process was simple, I was on my way to the water within minutes of showing up, and the river was glorious.

Excellent rv spots. Easy to reserve floats and BRR transports you and the inflatables to the launch then picks up the inflatables at the end of the float. Parking is convenient to where the floating ends. The owners and staff are easy to work with and genuinely show their gratitude for floating with BRR. We made reservations in March for our June trip (rented RV spots, inflatable kayaks, double inner tubes, and rafts.) We booked early because we wanted to have our choice as to what floats were available. Summer weekends are busy, and without reservations, all floats will most likely be reserved if you decide to be a ‘walk-in.’ We had a great, relaxing time. We will definitely be back next summer.

We have been here a couple times and it has always been a good experience, but I am loving the organization of the new manager (well newer). Thanks for keeping everything running smoothly for our float trip. The only thing I wasn’t crazy about was there was no hot/warm water in the bathrooms, and from what I remember the last times we went, there was some warm water. It was ice cold this time,
