Horrible customer service. The store and customer care have no clue about the order you place. They are nice till the time you place and order. After that it’s your head ache. The store manager or the designer do not call you back or offer any help. I am never going to buy from west elm again.

Really like west elm's product line, but have to agree with everyone else' comments on the poor service in this store! Opted for the 'white glove' delivery of the new bed frame. It wobbled and squeaked as the screws were not tightened and the support posts not adjusted to the floor, one dangling in the air. Also, installers did not have the screws for the slates. Was recommended to get them myself from the Home Depot and if I buy an electric driller, I can sink the screws faster than with a conventional screwdriver. Upon asking the delivery crew confirmed they are west elm employees! This is however now peace of mind as it turned out. The store manager promised twice to have a set of screws sent. Am still waiting... Was told the Headquarters is not doing their job... Besides, and as many others experienced, they also kept pushing out delivery of the bedframe. But to their credit, it came all the way from the Carolinas... Took some 6 months.

Quality products, if you can get them. Claim to be in stock, but once ordered the dates keep pushing - even though you get charged once you make the order. We just had to cancel our order, and are now looking elsewhere after 8 weeks waiting and no confirmed delivery date.
