This is one of the worse vets I ever been to my bearded dragon got sick so I took him there before it was too late and they took their time getting me into a room and coming into. Check on him when he was barely breathing nor did they really care or try to help him except for giving him some medicine which didn't do anything it's because of them my beardie died. They also charged me $200 for medication that didn't help this vet should be shutdown they are very unprofessional.

If I could leave less than one star, I would. I have no doubts that this place was the cause of my Guinea pig dying in pain. As another person said, it is extremely hard to find an exotic vet. Some background: my Guinea pig had been coughing for a couple weeks and we were treating it at home with the help of an online vet and research. My husband and I noticed that for approximately 2 weeks, our guinea was losing weight and we had not seen her eat or drink (this part is crucial). After doing more research, and calling the online vet again we came to the conclusion that humane euthanasia was the best option considering how much weight she had dropped and the fact that breathing was becoming more labored. We called quite a couple veterinarians and they either could not get her on the schedule or did not treat Guinea pigs. We called this place (which does anything except heal creatures) and they were able to get us in. I had an appointment in Hershey at the time my sweet Toffee was schedule, so my husband took her in. My husband and I were constantly communicating about what was being said, but the “dr” started becoming frustrated at having to wait an extra 30-45 seconds for me to reply. I was asked to call the office, which I did. When I asked for a brief rundown, she seemed frustrated to provide that. When I was asked what had changed, I mentioned that since I had not seen Toffee eat I was trying to feed her favorite fruits and veggies. The dr zeroed in on that telling me I shouldn’t be feeding my guinea pigs fruit or vegetables; (they don’t get them all the time just as a treat) but I was desperate at the fact that I had not seen Toffee eating. My husband had told me that when the dr had examined Toffee, she made it seem like there was hope in saving her and that her condition was not as bad. I was told that Toffee was sick but treatment would help. NOTHING ABOUT HER BEING CRITICAL WAS MENTIONED TO EITHER OF US (another critical piece of information). As I’m on this phone call, I’m racing from Hershey back to Mechanicsburg while dealing with after work rush hour. I consented to X-rays being done, with the condition they be sent to me, and then deciding upon treatment. X-rays we’re done, I was called back and told that treatment would definitely help Toffee. Both my husband and I were hesitant about this news because we had already tried treating it at home with no improvement. At this hesitation, the dr (or better called a quack) mentioned that if we didn’t see improvement by Wednesday night/Thursday morning (Toffee’s appointment was in a Monday afternoon) she would waive exam, euthanasia, and cremation fees. What pet parent doesn’t want to give their little furry family member every fighting chance if it seems possible? Both my husband and I consented cautiously. She was given fluids at the clinic, and I got there just in time to go over treatment administration. If my pet/furry family member had a fighting chance, why did she pass away in my arms within 30 minutes of leaving the clinic?! When I called back the next morning, explained what happened and asked for a refund (since the second appointment was no longer necessary) I was denied because “we knew the risks” and were told our pet was critical. NOT ONE TIME DID THIS QUACK MENTION THE WORD CRITICAL TO MYSELF OR MY HUSBAND. The younger receptionist seemed authentic and apologized saying she would give us the refund if she could; when the clinic manager got on the phone I was yelled at, scolded like I was her child and patronized. Oh! And guess what, I still haven’t received the X-rays. If you love your pets, take them somewhere else. Save yourself some grief. Edit: We found an exotic vet who could do a consultation via zoom (thus ONLINE VET). For this quack of a doctor to simply assume that we do not love our pets says a lot about this store when we (the vet, my husband and myself) determined that we had exhausted all options and were only prolonging her suffering, we decided it was best to euthanize. Reading comprehension goes a long way.
