**To the practice's response to my initial review below: My negative review was not made in regards to your appointment procedure, it was was made due to the lack of respect I received from the office manager, who provided me with unsolicited information that she was the dentist's wife in a threatening manner. The receptionist and office manager are not the doctor who prescribed my medication. To date, I have not received instructions from the prescribing provider on how to use this medication, which is a violation of my patient rights. When a patient asks to speak with a doctor regarding a prescription they received, they should be able to speak with the prescribing doctor. Office managers, doctors' wives, and receptionists are not the prescribing doctor. If your guidelines and office procedures prohibit patients from speaking to prescribing physicians regarding a medication they received, then this is a serious violation of numerous laws and will be reported to the proper authorities. INITIAL REVIEW: Avoid this office unless you are looking to be disrespected as a patient. I would never recommend this practice. I called for instructions regarding a prescription mouthwash, and asked to speak to the doctor when I received conflicting information from the receptionist on how to use the medication. I was told no one could call me back today (it was 1:00 pm) because the office was closing at 5:00 pm. I was also told my future appointment had been cancelled after I confirmed it twice at my last visit. I rescheduled my future appointment without any issues on my initial call. I later received a phone call from the office manager (and purported wife of the dentist, Dr. Ho) around 3:00 pm. After refusing to let me speak and constantly talking over me, I was told, "I am the office manager and Dr. Ho's wife and I am telling you that you are being very rude." When I go to a doctor's office, I look for solid medical advise and good customer service. I received neither from this office due to the lack of patient respect and unlicensed practice of medicine by this office manager/wife of the dentist, Dr. Ho. I will never return to this office or refer anyone to the practice.

Dr. Ho and his inexperienced assistant completely damaged my spouses teeth with faulty same day crowns that were very poor quality and failed immediately. We have had to go to numerous specialists after Dr. Ho messed up multiple crowns in her mouth. We’ve spent thousands of dollars fixing what they did wrong and they don’t even have the decency to refund us. She ended up having to get root canals with an endodontist. Our original experienced dentist (out of state) and the endodontist specialist said Dr. Ho did a terrible job with the crowns. He shouldn’t have placed them on the same day either and they were poorly fitted and caused malocclusion, misalignment, infection and excruciating pain. Please note my wife never had any medical nor dental issues prior to this. Dr Ho ruined her quality of life with the excruciating pain she was in immediately after he placed the faulty crowns. When she contacted them twice to tell them of the pain right after crown placement, Dr. Ho didn’t even tell us it was an emergency. He told us to wait three weeks for the excruciating pain to improve but luckily we saw an emergent specialist who said had we even waited two more days, her teeth would have been completely dead. My wife also had to get the crowns replaced as well because Dr. Ho’s failed immediately - they were misaligned, cracked, infected, causing lots of pain leading to even TMJ & headaches, which my wife never had in her lifetime prior to Dr. Ho’s crown placement. We regret going to them and really wish we didn’t blindly trust them with our dental health. He took months of our time, thousands of our dollars and he doesn’t even have the decency to refund us for the faulty crowns. We will never go back and regret going at all. Very painful experience. Regret stepping foot into lake eola dental. Since he refuses to refund us for his faulty service, we are considering a lawsuit against him for all the serious pain he’s caused my wife and all the expenditures secondary to fixing the botched up crowns he placed, costs of specialists to fix the damage he did, two courses of antibiotics, root canals and the pain we have had to undergo since placement of his faulty crowns and his audacity to not even reimburse us for poor quality treatment. We previously had another dentist in another state, who was excellent and never had any issues with our prior dentist but we unfortunately relocated to this state and trusted Dr. Ho’s care but are beyond disappointed with the extremely poor quality of service.

Every visit to Lake Eola Dental is an enjoyable one. From the conversations with Dr Ho’s entire team to the services provided. They are gentle and always make sure the patient is comfortable. The location is perfect in Downtown Orlando and has free onsite parking. I have never had a bad experience with the practice in the last 3-4 years going to them. I have multiple friends who go to a Lake Eola Dental and everyone loves their experience. I highly recommend Dr Ho and his team to anyone looking for a dentist near Downtown Orlando!

I’m new to the practice but with the two visits I’ve had, I highly recommend this dental office. Dr. Ho is very thorough, precise and concise, which I really appreciate. I think this will be my new dental home. Thank you for your kindness, Dr. Ho and awesome office staff!!
