My son played on this team for just 1 season. He was on a travel team but the way the team and the parents were set up it seemed like they never been on a travel team. I did like our coach in the beginning because he did communicate very well with the kids but then after that it didn’t seem like it went down hill. The parents did a lot of gossiping about the coach. There was 2 incidents where the parents were unruly at games. Going off on the other parents, the referee and the the coach. My son played with Alexandria since he was 4 we were trying to do something different thinking it would be better but it wasn’t. I would not come back to this team because of the parents. It’s no cohesive they were not sure how a travel team functioned.

I agree! We are in the soccer rec league. The teams are stacked, like distribute kids based on years of experience, not very hard (some with lots of experience and some new to the sport). If you are doing this then it doesn’t show at all. Also the team coaches are parents from the community, that’s fine, then don’t let parents coach their own kid. Guess what happens when they do? They let their own kid(s) play the whole time, even if they aren’t the best player(s). Seems biased. Everyone in the rec league should get equal playing time. Yeah, after this season we are going to find another league. Also, our coach doesn’t teach any fundamentals and he doesn’t show up if his other team is playing, guess that team is better. Terrible experience.
