I love this place! Books, comics, music!!! They have more but these are my interest.

I've been shopping at McKay's used books for over 20 years. And that time I found the selection to be second to none and the feel of it well more like a family establishment than anything else. However today while I went in to drop my usual monthly expenditure I was told politely that my dog was not welcome. So It is with a heavy heart that I cease my patronage of McKay's used books. This is a well-mannered boxer American bulldog cross that I have been taking into McKay's and frankly every other business I go to for years without incident. And frankly any business that my best friend is not welcome in makes me feel unwelcome at well. Amazon here we come.

What a jem, love this bookstore!!!

overall I like this place very much. I wish some of the kids books were cheaper but they make up for it in the selection. It is always fun to visit and see what this place has. Staff friendly and the place has a great atmosphere. 9.5/10 would highly recomend.

Yes
Hi Frank, I'm afraid we do not offer home visits at this time. Feel free to bring in up to 4 copy-paper-size boxes on a weekday (3 on a weekend) so we can evaluate them. We are often able to accommodate a larger order, but those bins are only available on a first-come, first-served basis at this time.
Not sure if someone can help. But they have carts available that you can use to bring in books from your car
I think so. You bring books, CDs, video games, etc you want to sell, they evaluate them if they are interested and give you a store credit or cash.
Frankly, overkill to the point of being annoying. They'll straight up call out people whose masks slip below their nose. On the plus side, if you like the extra caution, this place will be right up your alley.
No they don't. Only Comics and books and board Games. Dvd's, video Games, pop Heads, Cd's.
Yes
Yes. They will probably give you store credit for them. Any any they don't want that you don't take back, go into the free book bin.
Yes
It depends on the book and the condition they're in. I love them to buy movies you can get some awsome deals for big name movie plus the selection is huge.
Good question. Edited out by the globalists?
You will need to go and look through their rather large inventory.
They sell all the comics issues by issues
Can't really say for sure, but they have a vast array of books on all types of subjects. Crochet likely is one of them.
This is not how to rrach the store, this is just answeres from people who have been there. Sometimes employees will answer herr but not often. I would call them, or just go, its an awesome store and i bet you will find something even if not that.
You can buy anything. No trade necessary. Huge selection, great prices.
I know they have an entire section of audio books. You'd have to go and look to see what they have available. You could call, I know if you're looking for something specific they can search by title or author and let you know if they have it.
Yes
Yes, there is a section in the education shelves for homeschooling books. Not sure about how old they are, but they do have them.
You should check out their website www.mckayusedbooks.com, it’s got an entire list of the items they take. Records are on there!
You have to go search in person
The stock they have varries, you have to go and look.
