Picked up a Thanksgiving basket. Everyone was very polite and professional. God bless them for helping me in my time of need. I lost my husband of over 36 years on September 27th of this year and I am really struggling with finances and life in general and the Salvation Army was truly a God send to me. There are not really any volunteer opportunities on Christmas day, but if you are looking for opportunities on Christmas day please contact the lighthouse shelter in Annapolis. I am sure they have opportunities to serve. If you are looking for something in the next couple of weeks please give us a call at The Salvation Army at 410_263_4091.
