Been there for the fire in ice carnival. Colorful and neatly organized. Lots of entertainment on the street and crowd bustling. Nice little carnival kinda fun.

I used to live in downtown Frederick. Great little town! I visit at least twice a month to see mom and to pick up my packages which I can't have delivered to Baltimore due to the increase in porch pirates. I moved to Baltimore City for work but I'll be leaving very soon again for work. Frederick was also where I sold two of my paintings. Frederick is a wonderful place to live when you want the convenience of urban living but not necessarily the dirty, crime ridden parts of real urban living.

Are stores open on Sunday?
55 minutes to either city from Frederick
Currently there is not a hotel in the heart of downtown Frederick. Closest hotels are about 3 to 4 miles from the city center. Current lodging options in the area are AirBnB as well as some beautiful historic Bed and Breakfasts.
