I live locally so ideally this Mercedes Benz dealer is the place I’d like to have my new Mercedes serviced. I tried to do so recently for a warranty issue. Fairly minor problem but I would have to leave my car overnight. Service advisor I spoke to sounded miserable. Not necessarily rude, but not pleasant. Sounded more like the demeanor a traffic cop would have with you at the roadside. Nothing against police, but it’s just not a customer service appropriate attitude. Anyway I ignored that as getting my vehicle serviced was important. No availability if I wanted a loaner car. No ability to let me wait. The website says they have a “large fleet” of loaner cars. The next available spot for a loaner was mid-October. That was ridiculous. So I said I’d have to call back. Giving Mercedes of Fort Myers the benefit of the doubt that maybe the guy I talked to was just burned out, and with recent supply chain issues and so on…maybe this is just how it is. I called another Mercedes dealership. Night and day difference. The service advisor was exceptional. The professionalism was plain. I was even called “sir” every time he spoke. That’s respect that isn’t as common nowadays. Anyway, a loaner was made available and I’m going in start of the week. Now the very clear difference between the two reveals that MB of Fort Myers has some issues. It advertises five star service and a large fleet of loaners. Felt more like a DMV appointment. Not impressed. I’d go back and try again if things change.

Appointments are not needed, but are recommended and can be scheduled online or by phone call!

They never wash my Sprinter so I have no idea!
