Yes. We accept them but we have an organization that picks them up.
Yes they do. There's a table in the waiting area for you to put free items, they rarely have garments but I have gotten a few in the past. They typically have books or lightbulbs there but clothes are accepted even though they do not specialize in clothing giveaways
Yes, they do. You can help food drive or helping workers in there. You can come by yourself or group. Calling them, they are one of the nicest people you will ever meet.
Try and ask your local church in west minister to help you find a volunteer driver to assistant you with this need. There are many parishoner's so willing to help you! Also contact Rockville Damascus Frederick Wesr Minster help google them they are great leave your name and# they will call you back the same day and deliver boxes of food right to your location!
Mon-Fri 9:30 am - 3:30 pm
They don't serve meals. It is a food bank. They do accept donations of food items. I don't know about volunteering except maybe to help stock food into boxes! You'd really have to ask them!
Yeah but first call the organization
What is your specific question?
What are u talking about? You have a pointer? I dont know what yr talking about? If u want to pick up food from them, u give them a call and ask when if u have done so before AMD they will schedule it for u.
The comment above is so true!!! Go to the website and see. In the meantime, you can go to Nourish now and see how they can help. Bring your identification. There are no questions about income. They only ask how many in the family and what allergies there might be. It's a great place. If you can get to it, it's on Taft St. In Rockville. DON'T GIVE UP!
Yes. Mostly for knowing how many people and what your food allergy or restrictions or medications like if someone have diabetes they will carefully not strike your sugar. They are really caring. They will giving meet, cans, snack, fruits.
Please calling and making appointment then after you can also making appointment inside. They are helping a lot of families. It’s better to make appointment in advance. Please call, they will be more than happy to help you. Good luck.
Yes, Thank you for asking.
They are kind people who works hard to help people indeed of foods. They got food from stores and restaurants, they do have some non perishable that they purposely bringing in with whatever budgets they have. I am sorry for bad experience you have. But they are doing this in good faith. Why won’t you call them and try for a week to be a volunteer. You will know they try to spread the helps to as many as they can. They will keep in mind to give you meet, produces, snacks, and cans. They are carefully look to make sure that the food meet your allergies or restrictions. They are doing this with no charge to people that needs. They are so many families going there everyday. Try it, volunteer there. If it’s not like what I said, coming back and tell me. I personally think they works so hard to help people.
They should. "Best to use by" dates are NOT expiration dates. Canning was invented so food would last years & years, not just months. Tossing foods because they are past the "best by" dates are a horrible waste of good food.
