Great range with great customer service.I've been a member at Gilberts now for about 5 months.I've also been a member at the 2 other ranges located in Frederick.Gilberts hands down offers the best value for 1/3 of the price of those other ranges.I just participated in the defensive handgun course which Andrew was the instructor.Also ask for Chun or James or even Kurt.Great Staff. If I could give 10 stars I would.These guys know weapons training.I highly recommend this range to all friends and family members.Dont hesitate to give Gilbert's a try

Went like over a year ago and they were extremely rude and wanted me to pay a full membership just to try out the range. Overpriced ammunition and fudd staff. Avoid like the plague.

I think it is around $25 for a week, $70 for a month and $175 for annual membership. The annual membership has discount on the ammo. ( you have to buy the ammo from the range) I will double check the price.

Yes you can. They have a rifle side that you can shoot anything sub 50 cal.

You can bring your own or rent one. They have pistols and I think rifles you can rent. If you bring you own it must be unload and now outside ammo. You have to buy from the them.
For a handgun,search HQL training,(i know engage armament on gude dr does a class like every two weeks) you’ll need the class(you’ll get a cert) and a background check by Maryland state police...if a long gun is what you’re looking to own,you’ll simply need a background check
they be open man...its a privately owned range never closed. Just limited on how many ppl can be in there at 1 time. Get there early in the AM
I don't exactly know but problably 25 yards. Its long enough for any type of gun, except you are sighting in a rifle.

Terrance you will need to purchase ammo from Gilberts.But theirs great news.I used to go shoot at another range in Frederick, MD and paid $17.00 for a box of 50 in 9mm.At Gilberts I only pay around $11.Ammo is pretty cheap there.I highly recommend this range if you live Montgomery County
No you do not first come first served. You may want one of you are going with a big group.
