We like Waffle House because it's easy when traveling. Today the staff at the Kimball, Tennessee location made us feel like family. The food was perfect and the coffee piping hot. The Weavers definitely recommend y'all hit up this restaurant when traveling Highway 24 through Kimball Tennessee!!!

PROS: 1. The woman who took our to-go order (a bit older, short, reddish/black hair), was super friendly, sweet, and patient with us. 2. Food was made fast and we were out the door with our food within 10 minutes. 3. Reasonably priced for what you get. 4. Eggs were good & ham too! 5. They remembered all the to go silverware and hooked us up with syrup and ketchup packets! CONS: 1. Place is dirty - floors are sticky, not swept. Appliances looked like they hadn't been cleaned in ages. 2. Ashley (a waitress of some sort) had a lot of attitude with other customers which made us uncomfortable. Thankfully, another waitress put her in her place with some things. 3. Hashbrowns were undercooked (for me personally), but my boyfriend liked them that way. 4. Toast was under done, it was like I was eating a regular slice of bread, untoasted. 5. One of the girls behind the counter was constantly on her phone and needed to be reminded of our order 3 or 4 times, and still got it wrong (gave my boyfriend hashbrowns when the item specifically included grits). 6. The waffle was okay - but tasted wet/soggy, so it was under done as well. Overall, we wouldn't come back to this location on our next road trip, but we may try another location to see if we can have a better experience.

The atmosphere here is usually very friendly and the food is excellent for Waffle House. They tend to welcome you with smiles, jokes, and quick service. They definitely make you feel at home. I love this location!
