Leah at the front desk was very profssional and friendly. The rest of the staff I don't have enough experience with them to answer a survey about them. This literally popped in right after I left after my wife checked in. I left 3 stars as it is the middle number and I truly do not have the experience here to rate it with any accuracy.

They just need to the nurses need to take a little more pride in where they work and keep my dads track a little cleaner i had to come in today my 1st day visiting him here and it was dirty and i gave him a sponge bath when i was there its like come on he should have been cleaned and his track should have been better cleaned thanks and i hope it gets better

First of all it takes a special individual to work with people that can’t do things for themselves. I had ended back there at the North Arundel Rehabilitation Center facility from September 2020-January 2021 after just leaving there January 2020. As my previous review the care I received was still amazing and they went above and beyond. This time around I was sicker than the first time I went there paralyzed and in a vegative state not able to talk not expected to live. When I realized where I was at and saw familiar faces I tried to communicate with them but I couldn’t move my lips. So one nurse Judith had started me to blink once for yes and blink twice for no. That started me to communicate with the staff and the aides. Then I had a trache that had to be cared for and Nurse Bumi took excellent care of it to where when it closed I barely have a scar or know where it was at. I had to have oxygen when I got there and my oxygen was monitored by Nurse Alex and Nurse Obiora. And I can’t leave out Nurse Kim Baker Or Their Supervisor Joy because of their communication with me letting me know what was next to come with my treatment and encouragement.Both women in activities were phenomenal it was always a project or something to do especially for me the crossword puzzle book they gave me helped to keep my mind sharp. I had to learn how to talk, walk, eat, bathe myself and potty train all over again. I went in there laying on my back but I WALKED out of the facility two days before my birthday in January 2021 thanks to the wonderful rehab staff. If I ever have to go back to rehab I already told the person that is the boss (Calvin) get my bed ready cause I will not go anywhere else. It takes a special individual to care for someone in the condition I was in when I got there, I’m blessed that I received treatment from this facility again. Thank you once again😊

How are general pharmaceutical needs addressed? Is there an in-house pharmacy or access to a pharmacist?

There is access to a supply of medication for first dosing at the center that is available while new medication orders are communicated with the off-site pharmacy. Recurring prescriptions are filled by the off-site pharmacy for residents. Consultant pharmacists review each resident's medication list on admission and monthly thereafter to monitor each resident’s individual medication regimen and make recommendations to the physician.
