We had a delicious and delightful dinner at Placida Grill last night. Our waitress Annie made for our wonderful experience with her wit and excellent service. Our seafood was perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. I had a margarita that was great also! It's a bit pricey but find that you get what you pay for! We will definitely be back.

Totally dissatisfied or they’re special, it was supposed to be shrimp and lobster with bok choy Overland weenie. All I tasted was salt. And I couldn’t tell the difference between the lobster and the shrimp it was like eating rubber balls. When you first walk in it look like you were at a funeral black table cloths no color at all on the walls drab and dreary

Had been looking for a local restaurant with good reviews. Was a friend's birthday and wanted to either eat in or carry out. ran out of time to eat there, so we did carryout got home and we're pleasantly surprised. Do not know if the dressing for the salad is housemate or not absolutely phenomenal. Filet was cooked to perfection wonderful mixed green salad and scallops were perfect. Hands down the best ones we have had since being in Florida for the past year, yes we try them every single place we go. Hands down one of the best places we've tried in the last year. Considering we have tried even the new ones that have opened or been renovated on Manasota key. Though the view is phenomenal on the newest restaurants, absolutely not worth the subpar service and hit and miss on the food. So if you happen to be looking for fantastic food and excellent service definitely would try the Placita grill. Have to mention that the name of it threw me off a little bit when you go to restaurants with the name of a flower versus when one ends with Grill I was a little standoffish. But others reviews lead us to try this restaurant. so so glad others reviewed it as well. Great flavor combinations nice to see beats in with a salad. portions were perfect, green beans were fresh crisp. don't know if it was Food Service gravy with the mashed potatoes but honestly was fantastic. Would typically come home and make my own gravy before eating gravy from a restaurant that had Grill in the name. Definitely have a new view and more open mind thank you Placida Grill was an excellent birthday dinner for my friend, and I got to enjoy it as well.

Very pricey
