It's bad for business to use Keller Williams Main Line Realty. They will say anything to persuade you to submit as many applications as necessary in order to collect your application fees. Allison informed me that the specific unit I was interested in allowed subletting. I utilize the properties primarily to expand my short-term rental business, which is why I was looking to add more units. I was always up forward and honest with Allison about my intentions. I continued to submit my application after she repeatedly assured me that subleasing was permitted. The application was submitted under my business partner, who is more than qualified to rent the unit, but Allison first entered the incorrect DOB and social security number. My business partner had to contact the background check company during the entire process to get things clarified. She then continued the background check by entering the incorrect social security number a second time and checking the credit of the incorrect person, who had a low score. She claimed she couldn't change it because it was already in process after I pointed out that she was using the wrong individual, even though the information was false. My business partner's credit wasn't ran till this exact day. Because this company never ran it, it is not listed anywhere on her credit record. She also made mistakes from which there was no turning back, which is why she told me to submit a new application in my name. In the middle of my 2nd application process, Allison informed me that they no longer are allowing subleasing after I was told so multiple times and that was the sole reason I applied for this property. In the end, despite what I had been told, I was compelled into spending $120 even though I had no chance of renting the unit because the landlord didn't want a business renter (which I did not know). It was later discovered that the leasing business had lied about the landlord accepting subleasing when I confronted the company about how unethical it was to tell me one thing to get me to apply. Although the landlord promised the leasing business he would consider it, I was told it was acceptable. That is two distinct responses; it is not a yes, but they still made me go through this process rather than just saying the landlord will take it into consideration. In the entire process, Allison and Francis failed to accept responsibility for their errors, waisting my time and money and refused to give me a refund.
