I purchased a Summerwood home in a DelWebb community 6 years ago. The Summerwood is called the Mystique for the newer communities. The total price was $306,100 including land and almost all of the upgrades with front porch elevation and extended lanai. The same home at Beachwalk would be $775,000 and up depending on lot and upgrades. I have STICKER SHOCK at an increase of $468,900 in 6 years. I am aware that Beachwalk is a short ride to the beach but it is not ON the beach. My home would probably sell for $450,000 now but that is still $325,000 more. INFLATION IS REAL!

No, the lots are sold separately. But you get to choose which model you want built on the lot, the elevation (front) style and the handling (standard lay-out or reversed build).
