This is a fairly well disguised patient mill. I don't like to tell new providers I have a medical background to see how they treat people who they think don't know any better. For example, it's fairly standard to have an MD do intake on new patients and then use the PA-C for followups (most pts don't need full MD attention). Here, they skimp on that and have the PA-C do intake, but I'm sure the MD signs the notes and attests to insurance that he does intake. It's becoming a common scam to have midlevel providers run the practice mostly unsupervised while the MD signs notes from the beach, which is how this place appears to operate.

Haiken Dermatology has been my skin care group for many years. I've had numerous cancer cells removed and many pre-cancer locations frozen to prevent cancer growth. Every surgery and treatment have been done with great skill and excellent results. Another thing I like about this practice is they are not "cut happy" and avoid doing unnecessary surgeries. I highly recommend this practice to anyone that cares about their skin health.
