Worst experience in a hospital. I don’t know where to begin. The wait was atrocious. Taken into the er with ppl sleeping in beds all thru out the hallway and employees laughing and talking more than actually helping guests. Than brought over to process information and sign papers for another 20 minutes. You’d think we would have received help for the reason we came but nope not yet my insurance info is what’s most important to the hospital . Than For some reason I was separated from my pregnant girlfriend and assumed to be guilty of “something” before I was allowed to be reunited with my family, as if the hospital cares more about my family than I would. I was told this is protocol. What a complete joke. All this was done before they ever did a ultra sound to check on my son . I wouldn’t recommend this hospital to work on my dog let alone my family. Zero stars, would never come here again.

... the hospital is a maze. Signage tells you about prohibited areas but is worthless for navigating to patient areas. Not a map to be seen. They seem more concerned about physical appearance than function. Clearly patients and visitors are a nuisance.

My dad had surgery in May. He is 74 years of age He was in ICU for two weeks. The staff were so loud at desk laughing and acting like children. Some of the nurses acting like they did not want to even attend to him until i was up there. Also he returned to hospital in August and the fill in physician primary care dr said one thing and the speech therapist said another and did not agree on what needed to be done. Alot of nurses at that time had no sense of urgency. I usually understand nurses jobs are tough but you also need to be a kind person to a patient. Very disappointed with this hospital

I would reccomend Baptist Downtown for a stroke event.
Go to the closest hospital to you. I agree pneumonia is serious. Esp if he's had it before.
Call 904-202-4YOU(4968) to be connected with the right Baptist Health primary care doctor for you
I think there are board certifications you'd have to take
I can't speak for all rooms, but the room we were in was private.
Honestly, we have some very good hospitals here. Downtown Baptist is Great. UF North is on the Northside. St. Vincent's on the Riverside/Westside. Southside. Baptist Beach.
Yes, but I recommend you check the hours of operation before you go, you might have to make a pit stop on the way!
That's crazy. Hope your mom will be okay
If you have to ask.... Then yes..
In the adult hospital I didn't see any rooms with more than one patient
State medical board
Call 2022000 and ask them to direct you to the floor he is on
Did you mean Michael Waters? https://www.baptistjax.com/doctors/family-physician/dr-michael-waters-md
Here is the insurance information to Baptist Primary Care: https://www.baptistjax.com/doctors/baptist-primary-care/insurance

Humana medicare
MRI or cat?
Even without insurance take him back immediatly
Contact the volunteers through the front desk. There is a whole volunteer department and you can ask about going to the NICU, say if you have family or friends staying but they usually place you where the hospital needs you
Call Medicaid as well as Baptist financial aid office
Did you send your question directly to Baptist Medical?
Not that I could see from venturing out this morning. Good luck!
