This is a throw the peanut 🥜 on the floor 🤠 place! Stopped for dinner on a road trip, got seated right away by the friendliest staff, and had my food around the 2nd basket of rolls. No, I didn't even finish half of it!

We tried this restaurant several years ago before moving here and were very delighted that we had "discovered" it. Service has always been fantastic. The food is best described as "hit & miss". Sandwiches and burgers have always been quite good, the entrees, inconsistent. For example, sometimes their chicken fried steak is excellent, other times, tasteless. Nevertheless, we still enjoy going there every month or so. As a side note, their yeast rolls are outstanding! I could almost make a meal on just those!

Service is great! Food is fine. The appetizers were good, and my country fried steak was okay (a bit salty). The mac and cheese was not good at all. No flavor and really dried out.

It certainly has a vibe going for it, lol. Peanuts are given before the meal and you're supposed to just throw the shells on the ground. Place is super low light, too. I got a burger and my eating partner got a steak salad. Both were …
