Both my parents lived in the memory care wing for 4 and 5 years. I have recommended Watermark to many people, and now my brother has moved into the independent building.

In the short time that I've been living here I am extremely happy that I picked Watermark. The facility is spacious with many types of rooms to choose from. There are many activities scheduled from morning to evening. The food is very good with options to choose from. I'm sorry I didn't find this place sooner.

From the first time we visited Watermark I knew this was the best place for my mother. The facility is so beautiful and clean and the staff and residents are so friendly and accommodating. I couldn't be happier knowing my mom is being well cared for and enjoying all their amazing amenities they have to offer. Thank You Watermark, you have truly made this transition so pleasant for my entire family.

A dear friend of ours in in Watermark. Memory Care. His son was telling us what has been going on there. Private pay facility at what 8-9k per month? And you call his 85 yr old wife to come there to change his soiled diapers, bedding? He reported his dad is filthy, greasy, has dandruff, sores, that he is left in soiled diapers & bedding? What? This man of whom I am speaking is a human being. Where is the dignity for him? I recommended they contact Eldercare. This is despicable and disturbing. I can't even believe this is allowed. How do you sleep at night?

My mother in law is in a one bedroom apartment in the The Independent Living building and it's $3100 per month.
No
Dealing with two facilities myself, it appears that they themselves are receiving conflicting information. These places were told they were at the top of the list, yet now three counties in this area are getting vaccines sent to Publix. The real answer rests with Tallahassee, and the don't seem to be following the CDC recommendations. In South Florida the wealthy get invitations to show up at the nursing home and jump the line. So although I am frustrated, I understand that these organizations are struggling to figure it out as best they can.
