My mother in law is in a one bedroom apartment in the The Independent Living building and it's $3100 per month.
Remember, it’s not just rent, but all living costs. Your electricity, water, sewer, maintenance, all your meals and personal care as well as gym membership and transportation to medical care, social activities and a vibrant community is also provided for whatever the amount is. It’s not free by any means but when you add up all that you are spend now living in an apartment , it is a great value if you need some assistance. Look at the cost for home health care and add that to your monthly expenditures and you’ll see. Two living in the same room is much more cost effective than just one who needs assistance. Talk to Jennifer in their sales office. She was so very helpful in explaining all that was involved with moving my mother-in-law in.
Definitely need to meet with someone from Watermark; this place is nice but that comes with a price. Depending upon the level of care you may or may not need, the monthly rent can be up to close to $6000 a month.
