No I do not believe they do worry about that. However, there are plenty of other more productive places for them to spinntheir webs that you probably do not have to worry about walking in to one. Though that is not to say that you will not encounter one.

It depends on how much you want to see. I spent about 90 minutes there at a slow pace, and got to see most areas, including buildings and the gift shop. Lots of benches, and there are bathrooms.

There is a children's garden, splash fountain and play area that includes a large pirate ship and music chimes. There is also a fairy house for smaller children. During the holidays, there is music, crafts, and decorations and a "snow" machine. There is currently a Lego exhibit.

Prices mentioned are current. If you are new to visiting botanical gardens that isn't too bad. If you have been to a lot of gardens, as I have, it isn't much to see. Nice but not worth paying for in my opinion.
The only prices posted there, were Adult, Senior and Chidren under 3. I thought it pricey for what it offered.
