Beautiful sweeping views and clean bathrooms. Spots are well spaced but due to it being completely exposed with no trees you don’t have a ton of privacy. Was less than half full in mid June so wasn’t an issue for me. I slept in my car bc I was a bit worried about the wind but didn’t seem to end up being an issue. Made a good launching point to hike Gem Lakes the next day. Would stay again. $8 is a good price relative to other options in the area.

Stayed here many times.great base for the bishop area.20 min drive into town. Be aware if your tent camping it can get very hot no shade and the wind can be brutal at times.use rocks on the guylines .very peaceful place and the toilets are kept clean.

Beautiful- and SO quiet! I wasn’t next to the creek, I grabbed the first spot available (#2) but it was so quiet I could hear the creek from my site. Tables, fire pits, and bathrooms were clean. 100% would stay here again. Great spot, I’m so glad I found it. $8 for the site, and dump station available for $5.
