My experience at Safeway was definitely a positive one they stock everything the way it needs to be stacked in the produce are mostly fresh.

I want to love Safeway. But a couple of times, when I had a bad experience, and talked to someone about it they didn't make things right. Example; I had my brother in law pick up the big box of eggs for a huge family breakfast. Everything is almost done and it's time to start frying eggs. I be darned if every single egg didn't break as I cracked them into pan. What am I gonna do jump in car and have everything go cold and gross. When I told person in charge he kinda looked at me like I was just trying to scam him. He was polite but quiet and said he would speak with vendor about rotation. It's kinda why I don't shop there anymore.

my friends and i got some sushi today (April 2, 2022) and the lady who made the sushi was really nice; plus, the sushi was bomb

Sold us an expired (by 2 days!) fruit bowl😖. This was a nasty surprise when I served it to my husband - that was what he really wanted me to bring to him in the hospital. Purchased at 7pm on 3/25
