I gave it 2 stars because there is really nothing to review. I was in and out. But I do wish they had more resources for the needy tho. Edgecombe county have more resources than Nashville and Nashville have more money so i don't understand that.

Moved to the area with my special needs sister. It’s been almost impossible to reach anyone! I get a recording, leave a message to never receive a call back. I get transferred to never never land!! Not even the supervisors call back. This is sickening and someone needs to be held accountable. Terrible system!

Need more workers

They are the worse. You can't get any help. They let you starve.

I've been calling them for a month now and nobody returned my phone call this is a emergency I even almost this is a very serious question this is about my life they have me on family Medicaid yeah I might be quiet for that so I'm also qualified for b cell and I'm trying to get help because I had cancer cancer and I cannot contact nobody there I've been leaving messenger it's not right y'all should be able to pick your phone up
The fact of the matter is that you will have go there in person to attend to your matters.
People react to how they are approached. It is frustrating dealing with the stipulations of recieving government assistance. However, the social workers are only doing Thier job. SW can only do what the government allows... They are people too. The SW families are only taken care of bc the SW has a job.... I guarantee that the SW's DO NOT recieve FS and cash assistance bc they earn an income...
What is the tip program?
Nope I have not
Yes
Get an application to fill out and turn it in after you fill it out
If you have a worker already you should contact social service and acquire that information
Normally the workers are not bullying ppl or scamming them. Normally what they are doing is their job. If you think you are being wronged, please contact that workers supervisor. You can also contact the program manager, Deputy Director or the Director of the agency & have them look into your complaint. You can call the main # at 252-459-9818 & they will direct you to the appropriate department based on what info you tell them as to whom you want to speak.
Yes
I don't know please call them and ask 2524599818
I am not sure call and ask you will be treated with the utmost respect
Thanks alot
No. Nash County Government offices opens December 27th.
They will not directly help w / the rent but they will give u a referral 2 other organizations that may help with it. Most of the places DSS deals with will ask u 2 get this referral b4 coming 2 them. As far as Work First, u have 2 b the parent/caretaker of a child under the age of 18 and the income limits are very low for the program. Everything is a process, that's just the way things work. All the programs at DSS are government run, so yes there are questions to be answered & forms 2 be completed. There is no way around it. Just about all the prog. will take ur income into account. You may want to check out the CIP program.
It's constantly that way.You need to go to another dept/when they and tell them that your last name/casewrkwr/they'll connect you to them.
Yes they are today. But its hard to get them on the phone
You have to apply for them in the county in which you live. They can mail you an application but you will still need to see someone in person.
Call social services and they will further direct you.
DonaldTrump said eventually he was going to faze out the program
