Terrible. They were incredibly rude to me. (Literaly) Cussed at me after I brought a momma cat with kittens that they knew about and said to bring. Ignored me at the door and all my calls. If they treat humans this way I can only imagine how they treat the animals there.

tried calling literally 30 times without an answer. Got cussed out and told to NEVER come back again when i tried talking to them. the woman who works there needs to put a muzzle on herself rather than the dogs. she is literally the rudest person i have ever met. DO YOUR JOB AND HELP THE ANIMALS. 0/5 if i could

We called this place 28 times with no answer when they were open. We decided to drive down before they closed because we found a poor stray dog and we needed help. The woman was VERY rude and told us to never come back and started screaming at us for being there a couple minutes after closing.

Great experience adopting our dog. They gave us time to get to know him in an enclosed area before adopting. They gave him a rabies shot and us a voucher to have him neutered.

Probably best to go down there between 1-4 to get help but 2 days ago they were overflowing with kittens and dogs. They are also open on Saturday too. If you can touch the cats I suggest finding them a home but the pound is not to fault they didn't put the cats there you should place blame on person who didn't take care of the cats but just a suggestion. Have a blessed day
No, you don't have to live in the county. I'm an hour away from nash and adopted from there
They offer a voucher that will cover most if not all of the cost if you use the partner vets or coordinate it with your vet. Once you have spayed/neutered, you can take that paperwork to the County and get a refund on the adoption fee you paid.
Any vet can do it but I would call around for the best price
Yes
They have open invitation after 9am m-f
No, they care a county run "pound," but they have an organization dedicated to promoting and saving as many pets as possible called Nash County Animal Friends of NC. You can find them on facebook to learn more and see the some of the pets available and on stray hold.
It is $50. They will refund it when/if you provide proof of spay/neuter.
Go onto rescueme.org & try that. They have a lot of great animals in need of a home.
your dog will be killed here
