I applied for an apartment here, on October 6, 2017 I was informed by the property manager, Ms. Gupton, I qualified, and there was an apartment available. All of this occurred on a Friday, she informed me she would be in contact with me on Monday with the details. The following Monday came and left, so I contacted her on the next day which they were opened; which was Wednesday. At this time she informed me that there was nothing available and she would have something opening soon. I followed up on a daily basis; at least the days they opened. After November, I followed weekly. By December, I gave up hope. Each time I followed up, the possibility of getting an apartment anytime soon, became more and more bleak. In January of 2018, I ran into a friend, who had also applied for an apartment there, after I applied. Fortunately for them, magically, something became available, we had applied for the same size apt. I tried contacting Landura Management Associates, which is the property management company. I was never able to speak to the gentleman that was over the apartment complex, I was continually refereed back to the Hazelwood Apartments for assistance. It is now, September of 2018, and I still do not have an apartment. I have not heard back from anyone associated with Hazelwood or Landura. All of this, for an apartment, which was available when I applied, and would be moving into the same month that I applied. Yet, here I sit, still waiting on a move in date. If you are seeking some place to call home, I would strongly suggest not visiting Hazelwood Apartments, or dealing with Landura Management. This is just a vicious circle of run a rounds. dishonest communication from property manager, and no recourse to report legitimate complaints, concerns, suggestions, etc.
