It's just like.some of the workers just don't want to be there to do their job and it's not the customers fault so stop being rude with your tone

I've been waiting for an answer for over 8 months. I'm sure I'll get rejected because our government is awful but I have so many medical problems that I can't afford to get taken care of. Mentally I'm a mess and I can't even afford therapy and I'm going out of my mind. So I guess I'm just going to have to wait forever to get rejected, get a lawyer, wait another God knows how long amount of time before I actually get help.

Horrible, horrible, horrible...been asking for help for the last year!! What's going on over there?? I've been there SIX TIMES in the last six months -- still no one wants to speak to me... pathetic..

Personally I head a very smoosh experience, I came in took my number and was done with all my process in under 15 minutes. The place is clean and has hand sanitizer The phone service criticism is valid , since a lot of information online is often not up to date, but it’s not all that bad, as long as you come in with low expectations, the service is great

what do i need to bring to sign up for socisl security
At the death o a spouse can the living spouse receive the benefits if they are more than the living spouse?
I've just gone in early in the mornings. You might want to try and get there before they open at 9AM. Get a number and wait in line. It's impossible to get them on the phone.
Show up then they make appointment. They may even be able questions then and there.
You can apply for it when u 62 and u take a cut but or u can wait till u are 65
Hello... According to what I have searched for information, if you have proof that the person with whom you were married... Contributed with taxes and everything that is regulated in this country... It has many benefits... It is to go to a social office security to provide you with better information.
Go online
Yes and I went yesterday around 11 and it was 30 minutes or less wait and out of there time. Amazing 👏🏾
I have tired for 5 weeks to contact someone..They are aware the phones aren't working..I need to sign up for Spousal Benefits..the only thing I know to do is drive from Riner to Roanoke 45 min. drive and sit on the curb. I am desperate..
The office in Lynchburg is close and they are not giving appointments. You should enter the webpage, fill out the form and see the list of documents you need to send, everything by mail... I recommend you to phone the office in Roanoke. They are giving appointments, and will tell you all what you need, apart from printing and filling out the form you will get from the webpage. Besides, they are very kind and efficient, not as in Lynchburg. I got my social security card within the range of a week thanks to the Roanoke Office.
Any news of SS Roanoke office will be reopening for public for a new SSN
Yes
Took me 7 months
No the doors are open from 9-4. Don't forget ID
No, you must call the number they have posted on the door for their office.
Do i have to schedule a meeting before I go to social security?
I believe you have to have an appointment to even get through the door.
I am not sure. It is better to call or email them for any information.
Sounds like it could be fraudulent activity. Contact a lawyer or S.S. Administration
Most likely you can but I'm not 100% sure

There are many prerequisites that you need to follow to apply for Medicare (part A or B). I would recommend going online to; www.medicare.gov/sign-up-change-plans/get-started-with-medicare For more information you can always go in, or call, your local Social Security Administration.
There is no email to send anything to pertaining to applying for benefits, or anything else for that matter. If you want to apply for benefits go in to your local SSA. For more information visit SSA.gov
Yes, but you can't be on the phone at the window.
It's best to go in person as you will get a verification printout that you will receive a social security card.
Birth Certificate Social Security Card Proof of Citizenship, if not born in the US Drivers License And other answers to your questions can be found at SSA.gov
My best advice would be to check SSA.gov
Notify law enforcement non emergency number in your area
Just walk in social security office, sign into the computer with your name and social and wait for your number to be called. They'll assist you and get your paperwork finished while you're there
His medical history , and any papers related to his condition. Next you will need to call ssi or go to the office to get a application for disability .
You need to bring a picture ID (drivers license or state ID) Birth certificate...& possibly a proof of address. Call to double check.
Yes, to your right as soon as you go through the second set of doors.
The quickest way is to go to the Social Security office. They take walk ins. And usually the wait isn't that long. Maybe 20-25 mins at most.
No. They will be mailed
Usually about $ 35.00 depends on where you live.
I would likely say a birth certificate and valid identification card. I would call the office and make sure about that though. Hope this helped
There is 2 hour parking in front of the library. There is also a pay parking lot across the street.
I would like to know
That money will be collected back from SSA once they find out the person died, so I wouldn't spend it
There is a public parking right across the street from it, but u have to pay. If that doesn't work you can try getting there earlier and park by the library. Hope this helps
Maybe, but I would suggest to speak to someone at social security about you benefits and how they could be affected.
On the ss website they have the hours and income. But i dought 20 would effect it
Im not sure about that because the Roanoke office has several LIARS for employees and it was to the point that i had no choice but to write a letter of complaint naming the 3 different employees which between those employees i was lied to at least 6 times. Oh and god forbid anyone call Roanoke social security office on a Friday because ms McGill (sp) will lie like a cheap rug!!!!!!! Smh.
At the barbershop.
Yes it can most likely will. .. once you are married ssi don't look at as separate incomes your total household income will be looked as one and they take that combine total and base how much you'll receive each month
Yes u can its no gimmick and after the 9 months u can make as like $1400 and still keep ur whole check anything after tht its taken out of ur check ... Dont quote me on the $1400 not 100% sure thts the right amount but its close to tht
Sorry for your recent loss. As for your question I'd contact the SS office and when you have the death certificate, take it there for them to receive a copy.
You can borrow off of your back pay but I don't know if they give loans like that with with your month pay out
