I sent them a package two weeks ago and no one can tell me where my comic is or what happened to it. They just keep passing me off to the next person who also doesn’t have answers. Protect your collectibles and don’t use this company

I really wanted to like CGC since I’m a big collector of Pokémon error cards and misprints. However, my experience was miserable. I submitted two “standard” submissions of only 6 cards total. One took four months to return to me because instead of opening the box they assume it’s economy and lump it in with the cheapest options regardless of tier. The other took only four weeks but out of two cards, they forgot to include sub grades on one of them. I had to send it back for free but it is still in queue after two weeks. The grades themselves were disappointing. Specifically, the “centering” grade is very arbitrary and not consistent. Some cards with near perfect centering receives an 8.5 (reasonable), while others (see photos) are moderately-severely off center and even includes an alignment dot for the same 8.5 centering grade. They refuse to revise their grades. Overall unhappy with the turnaround times, sloppy QC, and inconsistent grades. Edit: They forgot my sub grades for one card so I sent it back for free. After two additional months of waiting, it came back again without sub grades. Received a partial refund.

Very satisfied! The drop off and pick up of items is very secure and I'm pretty happy with the grading my card received, it's the first Reserved list card I e ever had graded. This baby is going right into the safe!
