I believe this agency probably does get work for the talent they sign. I’m sure modeling and acting jobs come from being represented by them, but there are some things I did not like about them, and we ultimately decided to seek work elsewhere. The “interview” was more of a sales pitch from minute one We we’re told it costs nothing to sign on as talent, but that we had to pay for their coaches. $995 one time fee that was discounted for a short time to $500, and if I didn’t pay right away that price might go up. The person who owns the facility told me that she had no way of knowing when or by how much the price will change. We said we’d have to think about the coaching, at which point we were no longer offered representation. She said if we decided to come back in week for the coaching sessions, she could charge me then. When I messaged to decline the coaching, we were not offered a contract. I worked with agencies in my youth, I lived New York and did some local commercials and modeling. If an agency wanted to sign you but thought you needed coaching, they would tell you to look for coaching and then come back when you were more prepared. They might suggest some coaches that they knew, but whether or not they decided to sign you wasn’t contingent upon using the coaches that they offered. Ultimately, I do believe that A List models and talent does get work for its clients. And if you’re interested in coaching anyway or acting classes, then maybe this is the right agency for you. For us it was not.

I have two daughters that are signed with A-List. They love it, and have had wonderful opportunities because of A-List. If you are looking to get into modeling or acting, I highly recommend it.

This place seems sketchy to me, a total scam. I drove 3 hours to have an interview only to be told I would have to pay $1200 to get signed with them. I left and told them no way. No legit agency will make you pay to represented by them. SCAM!!
