Nice gentlemen Officer at the front door. I did not have to wait long. The worker was polite and took care of my business quickly. I t was a lot better than I expected!

We are so fortunate to have a team and a facility like this in our small town. I have been navigating my parents affairs and am always met with the best customer service.

They pick up. Type on their keyboards. Say nothing. Then hang up. Not just once. Multiple times in a day. I'm literally disgusted.

I was told to drop off a piece of mail to the SSA office, which I tried to do today. Not a car in parking lot. A security guard came out and asked if I had an appointment, which I didn't so was told to call the number. I asked him if he could just take "the envelope" inside. He stated no, that I had to have an appointment to drop off paperwork. I could mail it, yes, but why can't they just take it? So I called, 11 times and it went straight to a busy signal. Great. I am so angry that there isn't a way to just hand them a document they need. Ridiculous.

How selfish!!! Worry about YOUR OWN INCOME!!!
It depends on the pay that you receive. Speak with a benefits specialist to see what your max income is for your particular case as it varies from person to person.
Yes
Go to https://www.ssa.gov/ and use their calculator 💲💰
I would just inform them that you are working and try to go to work part-time. You can make up to $1,340 a month on drawing social security disability. Yes, you do turn in your check stubs and you do have a 9-month work trial. Where you can make as much as you want there but that will also show okay. I can go back to work full time and I do not need any assistance so just keep in mind don't overdo it and just do what you can. That way you don't have a setback in your health.
They should have the original letter in their computers. They have had all of our records in their computers. As long as you have your ID you should be able to get what you need.
Yes of course https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/ 📝
Get a copy of the Demographic Sheet from Dr. Office
Yes
If that is your only income you would not have to pay tax on it
9a to 4p but you have to make an appointment to enter the building
I would suggest making an appointment and going in to talk to someone.
U can't file social security
Not much check the social security gov website by the time it's all processed you'll be 65. 👴🏽
We need 2 forms...a Cms 40b...and a Cms 564...you complete the 40b...you complete section a of 564...employer completes section b...bring them in and we can get you signed up for part b
You don't get full SS at 65 you have to wait until 68 I think. It might be longer but they changed getting the full amount at 65 a long long time ago and they keep changing it.
I am sorry. I don't know the answer to that question. I can tell you that the social security office is more organized that it may appear.
If you have been declared disabled by social security you could see about applying for disabled widows benefits that begin at age 50; otherwise widow's benefits begin at age 60 as long as you are unmarried at the time you file or remarried after age 60. Sorry for your loss.
The year that you turn FRA full retirement age...the,earnings limit goes up to about 45K...once you turn 66 there is no earnings limit...you should not have to do anything.
In NC,you can not receive a duplicate through the mail. You have to go to the office.
If you remarried after the age of 60 you can apply IF the first husband is deceased. If he is not, then you cannot claim any benefits off of the first spouse. In that situation you could only claim off of your current husband if he's currently receiving his own benefits and his amount is at least double what yours is. Hope this helps!
I am afraid I don't know the answer to that question. You may want to call them or walk in to talk to them.
I am afraid I am not able to help you. You may be looking at the wrong agency.
It is my understanding that if you are on disability and choose to work part time, your disability check will reflect your part time job. I am not an attorney I recommend you speak with one.
I am not certain what their fax numbet is. Normally businesses post their numbers on the webpage. That is where I would start.
I don't remember their hours of operation. It is further complicated by whether the government shuts down. Call ahead of time for office hours.
