Wonderful selection of gaming and vinyl for the collectors. They also have lots of quirky little items and classic books. This place has something for everyone. The best part is the staff. They are like a little family. They are friendly and helpful no matter how busy it gets. We made the mistake of showing up near closing time on their anniversary (we didn't realize until we got there) but, they still happily helped us get in and out with our purchase. Happy Anniversary! Half priced books is our family's favorite place to shop.

I love this place so much. I can always find a great deal on books, they also have board games, cards games, console games, knicknacks, and rare finds. I’ve sold tons of stuff back to this place too, and their sell back prices are some of the fairest I’ve found in the city.

No appointment needed and as far as I know no limit it will just take them more time. Also be sure to check your books for mold as if one book has it and is stored with 50 other fine books they won't accept anything in that box. The service can take a long time though based on number of customers before you and of course the amount you are selling.

There are times that they have $1 DVD sales. As for books, they may have trade paperback sales but I'm not 100% sure for this particular location. There are, however, always amazing deals on their clearance section and you can often find $1 books there.
Yes. Super easy. I love giving a second life to my old books and picking up something new (to me) while I'm there.
They purchase text books and reference books for many subjects.
