I had the pleasure of meeting Officers Montooth and Mota, during a not so pleasant situation. Their Professionalism, Courtesy, Patience and effort were above and beyond anything I could have expected. I've had many positive experiences with Law Enforcement, but this was by far one of the best. Definitely assets to the organization and an example of what the CHP is about. Officer Mondell said she pulled me over for speeding, despite it having been while I was passing a slower moving vehicle with a distracted driver. There was no communication beyond telling me my "crime" and demanding my ID. She couldn't even tell me what an appropriate speed would have been. She could only tell me it WASN'T the speed I was doing. I don't think she knew the answer. She sure could write that ticket though! I specifically asked her how to correct the behavior, but she only wanted to cite me. Instead of educating me, she chose sarcasm and a citation/fine. I had to get that education from a Sgt who told me that their job is to enforce and educate, and sometimes education requires a citation, which I find incredibly ironic. My interaction with her wasn't educational. I had to go above her for the answer. She has NO people skills whatsoever. I don't recall her even introducing herself. Cops with attitudes like hers don't belong on the force. Don't treat people like they aren't worth your time, officer mondell. Maybe I should FOIA her records and find out why she was off the job for so long and why she's back at such an advanced age.

CHP was at my accident and he blames me for it, he said he wouldn't include the witness at the scene because I was talking to him even though he was just checking on me.
