This is our family's favorite place to camp but it also has an exceptional day use area. It is beautiful. The facilities are great. And the rangers are awesome.

This campground was great! The sites were nice, with fire rings or a fire stove... The boxes for storing food were big and clean. Bathrooms were the best, with hot showers (bring quarters). Great hiking trails In and next to the campground. Miles of trails. A little store is there for toys, ice cream, etc, but it's high cost. 15 minutes from the beach. Great location.

Beautiful park with great hiking trails and a nice river to play in. The people who run the snack shop are amazingly friendly. A great place to camp or for a day trip.

Park is a fabulous gem in the woods of San Mateo just a few miles from Half-moon Bay. Camping available

Memorial Park is open for day use every day of the year including holidays. It opens daily at 8:00 A.M. The closing time varies by time of year.
Even Verizon does not work.if you have to make a call go into town. 10 min drive, and they do have telephones at the front of the park by the main gate. I believe the visitor center has free Wi-fi. So you can make Wi-Fi telephone calls.
No.
Day time use - no. Overnight camping - you will have to show your car pass. The park rules are "Quiet time from 10 pm to 8 am daily" due to sleeping campers.
No off road vehicles or bikes or skateboards on the pathways
No, they do not allow them and they have their own grills to use however I have brought my own everytime I've been there and never had an issue.
We play catch and sometimes the kids play ball with a wiffle ball. There isn't really a clearing to for a real game.
If you mean showers at each individual campsites the answers no if you mean a large shower that is shared by everyone yes.
It's like a small convenience store ice cream, coffee, candies, cookies, toys for the kids and firewood etc I don't think they sell alcohol there though. Yes park open in spring not sure about the store though. Not sure about swimming.
I'm sure that the lovely Rangers can answer all of your questions just give them a call.
